I am so grateful to be chosen as 2012 Eyemouth Herring Queen 2012
and it is such an honour and so exciting to have the chance
of representing Eyemouth. The experience will be treasured by me
for the rest of my life.

So far me and my maids have not had to do too much to prepare
except for choosing our dresses and going to the Practices but I know that will change
very soon and I am looking forward to starting to help to raise some money
to help run the events and seeing Rachel complete her duties.

I cant wait until 7th July when I will be crowned and I am really looking forward
to all the different activities throughout Herring Queen week that we will be attending
– there is something to suit all ages and tastes!

I know that me, Alana, Keira, Zoe & Rebecca will have a very busy year
and will really enjoy ourselves and this special time will bring us closer together.
