So the 2017 Eyemouth Herring Queen festival is nearly upon us.
Everything is organised, right down to the minute of what will happen and when for all the family to enjoy.
EHQ elect, Miss Colbie-Kate Ross is all set for Saturday 22nd July alongside her maids Maisie Sanderson, Jodie Black, Leona Maltman and Abbie McKirdy to board the Eyemouth Lifeboat, Barclaycard Crusader at St Abbs harbour and with the help of our loyal crew, make her safe passage to Eyemouth port. Fingers, toes and everything else crossed for great weather !!!!.
This year we have a new addition to our festival, our EHQ Info Office, situated at the beginning of Eyemouth High Street. Here you can see what’s on, buy various tickets for our events or even bunting for your house. Remember, we have a prize for the best dressed house, a holiday sponsored by our friends at Verdant Leisure, at one of their parks across the country. If you happen to be lucky enough to be in one of the EHQ courts from 2016 and 2017, you could win a canvas with a photo of your choice kindly sponsored by Fantasy Prints in Berwick Upon Tweed.
